Jorge Bas Panam GP Series

Chileans Vicente Bas, Jorge Bas and Abel Alonso are already in Perú preparing for the next to last race of the Panam GP Series season, to be held on October, 27 at Autodromo La Chutana in Lima. Chileans have confidence that the peruvian land will give them good results, mainly because they know the circuit better than rivals in other countries, particularly Mexico, whose drivers usually dominate the Series. “The track is very fast and technical, but we are certain that we can achieve a good result as we are all equal. For these races Mexican drivers do not know the circuit and finally we run as equals ” assures Jorge Bas, who is fourth in the championship with 111 points at only one point to the third.

For the three Chileans, La Chutana represents the stage prior to the finale of the 2013 Championship which will be held on Sunday November, 24 at the Autodromo Interlomas of Temuco in Chile.

The eighth presentation of the Panam GP Series begins Friday morning with practice at Autodromo La Chutana. Saturday will see qualifying and Sunday October 27, the two main races.
